Hands-on with BASH at Tokyo Game Show 2026

After making its debut at gamescom in August, BASH headed to Japan for its next stop — Tokyo Game Show 2026!

From September 17 to 20, we spent four exciting days at Makuhari Messe, putting BASH into the hands of gamers and sharing a different way to play.

A different way to play

There's something special about watching people pick up BASH for the first time. Its soft, flexible controls aren't quite what you'd expect from a game controller, and that's exactly what makes trying it in person so interesting.

Throughout the show, we had the chance to meet players with different gaming backgrounds, watch them explore BASH through live gameplay, and hear their thoughts along the way. These conversations are one of our favorite parts of bringing BASH to gaming events.

What’s coming next?

With gamescom and TGS 2026 wrapped up, we're shifting our focus to getting BASH ready for what's ahead.

We're currently fine-tuning the final product specifications and preparing for mass production. Pre-orders are tentatively planned for Q1 2027, and we'll share more details as things take shape.

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth, gave BASH a try, or simply came over to say hello. It was great meeting you!

See you at the next stop. 🎮
